Liquid Spraying Methods

In order for any liquid to be sprayed, it must be dispersed with air or the liquid must be pressurized. In air-shattering nozzles, the pressure of the liquid's own flow is sufficient. Even if the liquid comes in drops, the air can break up this liquid and spray it. Especially in processes where very little liquid needs to be applied (for example: 0.01 gr), an air fragmentation nozzle should be preferred. With the pressure of the air and liquid, the particle size can change and different spray patterns can be obtained. Air fragmentation nozzles should be preferred in applications such as humidification, dust precipitation, lubrication, etc. Nozzles, which spray only with the pressure of the liquid, offer a constant spray depending on their hole diameter and the structure of the head. Particularly dust is undesirable, washing, cooling, etc. They are preferred in applications. The nozzles that are especially preferred as water spray nozzles are those where the mains pressure is sufficient. 2-3 bar liquid pressure will be sufficient to split the water at the desired rate. In liquid spraying methods, there are nozzles that work with high pressure (250 bar). These nozzles...

Spray Angle Chart

One of the most important technical data to consider when choosing a spray nozzle is the spray angle of the nozzle. The table below shows the impact area provided by the spray angle from different distances.

Airmix Spraying Technology

• Airmix spraying technology, which consists of the combination of Conventional (Air) and Airless technologies, includes the advantages of both technologies. • The liquid coming with high pressure becomes more atomized with the air supplement. • Airmix spraying technology, used in many industries all over the world, is preferred in areas where high quality finish is mandatory.

How to Clean a Spray Gun?

Water should be used to clean water-based paints from the paint passing parts of the paint gun, and thinner should be applied to clean solvent-based paints. The holes of the air cap at the tip of the gun should be placed in thinner and then cleaned with air. No objects should be inserted into the holes of the air cap. The entire gun should be immersed in solvent for cleaning. If the entire gun is inserted into the thinner, it may damage the sealing equipment and cause the gun to leak air.

What are mold release oils used for?

These are oils used in pure form to remove the material from metal molds cleanly and easily, to prevent the material from sticking to the mold, and to prevent the mold from being damaged. Since the application method and the created release film thickness significantly affect the surface quality of the product, you can use the DERMIX JAGUAR PLUS automatic mold release spray gun to create a thin and homogeneous film layer.

What is Chemosil?

It is a special chemical that ensures the adhesion of rubber and metal during the vulcanization stage. A DERMIX JAGUAR PLUS model automatic spray gun is used to spray chemosil on metal. The desired atomization can be achieved with the precise air adjustment on the gun. It can also spray at very low pressures.

What is Postforming?

The most important feature of laminate material is that it can be shaped by heat transfer method. This is technically called postforming. DERMIX JAGUAR PLUS model automatic glue spray gun is the spray gun that performs glue spraying in postforming machines.
